I started scuba diving back in 2003 at the Great Barrier Reef while backpacking across Australia. I landed a job as kitchen help on a dive liveaboard, where I gained my open water certificate and logged my first 50 dives. I fell in love with the ocean, and over the past 15 years I have been fortunate enough to log thousands of dives in over 20 countries.
Since I was a teenager I had a strong interest in nature & adventure photography as well as filmmaking. I picked up my first DSLR underwater camera in 2014. My guiding motivation is to capture the underwater world through video and photography, and to share it with people not familiar with it. Through my work, I hope to increase interest in underwater environments, and share its beauty and innocence with as many as possible.
Since 2018 I share my close to two decades of scuba experience with new divers as a Scuba Instructor. I also have embarked on a journey extending my own training and knowledge beyond recreational scuba diving, and venturing out as a technical diver.
I am based in Hong Kong, and for the last 10 years I’ve been an active member of Hong Kong’s diving community and beyond, in Asia-Pacific. I teach scuba diving and underwater photography, and design unique dive experiences for small groups worldwide. I work on photo and video projects that grab my interest; and I am always on the look-out for collaborators.
